Our environmental strategy or policy is to use effective, innovative hotel approved products, chemicals, cleaning approaches and programs that help to reduce any harmful impact or carbon footprint to the environment, while preserving vital resources such as water and energy, indoors and outdoors, and to promote ‘green cleaning’ and sustainability by:
1. ​Reducing water and energy consumption whenever possible
2.​ Reducing use of harmful cleaning agents or chemicals and replacing with eco-friendly hotel approved products
3.​ Avoiding generation of aerosols
4.​ Avoiding generation of noise or air pollution by using electric over gas powered equipment for outdoor use whenever possible
5.​ Reducing carbon foot print by using hotel approved laundry services that utilize reduced temperature and water saving equipment for cleaning rags
6.​ Properly labeling and disposing of cleaning chemicals
7.​ Turning off lights after servicing area(s)
8.​ Reducing paper usage, and landfill by products, by recycling office supplies, using electronic mail and storage, and using recycled paper.
9.​ Using cleaned cloth cleaning rags for specific areas without cross contamination.
10.​ Remaining open and flexible always to new innovations, and hotel approved products, programs, and protocols, that can help lessen our carbon foot print and overall impact to our precious environment.
